About
Continental Electrical Construction Company is the premier electrical contractor in the Chicago land area and one of the largest enterprises of its kind in the Midwest. Founded in 1912, our pledge to deliver quality workmanship on every job is rooted in four generations of family ownership. Today, after more than a century of leadership, entrepreneurship, and relationships, our reputation is unparalleled.
A Company Built On Relationships
In business, we believe everything is built on the relationship. Relationships unify multiple partners, from property owners to contractors, tenants, architects, engineers, and our own labor force. They serve as our source of knowledge, inspiration, and trust to bridge the distance between a project’s potential and its performance.
We demonstrate this philosophy in our commitment to “A Customer For Life,” which keeps us held to a higher standard and focused on efforts to develop and maintain enduring partnerships with our customers. We think about how the customer likes to be treated and every day come to work asking the question: “What will it take to get repeat business?”
We nurture a corporate culture that promotes communication and trust among management and field personnel. Customers routinely tell us how we’ve transformed a “professional relationship” into a personal connection. The effort comes naturally to us, as it is based on the ideals passed down through four generations of family ownership and management.
In our corporate offices located in Oak Brook, Illinois, we host educational programs, foreman meetings, vendor demonstrations, project pipeline reviews, safety sessions, business development meetings, start-up and finish-up reviews, and social gatherings. All estimating, purchasing, project management, engineering, marketing, and team building duties are centralized here as well.
