University of Chicago

During this project, Continental completed almost $8 million of electrical work to complete the historical renovation of an existing 100-year-old seminary building. To join this building, a new four-story building was erected. Continental worked with the general contractor, architect, and engineer to add underground ComEd vaults, generators, electric rooms, and mechanical rooms as well as underground classrooms and computer rooms. Although the modernization of 100-year-old fixtures and other historical fixtures required extensive coordination and customized installation methods, Continental is proud to have completed both phases of the project. This project was completed in November 2014.
